Astra CC http://www.whatcar.co.uk/car-review/vauxha...ra-twintop/786/

FOR

The Astra Twintop looks great and its engines give you the choice of either economy or performance. It drives tidily and is fairly practical.

Forget the old Astra - this one is fun to drive and fit to challenge the Golf.

Astra VXR http://www.autocarmagazine.com/RoadTest_Su...y.asp?RT=216726 (We’ve been critical of some aspects of the Astra VXR, but still like it a lot. At times, its handling response and dynamism are so breathtaking that we’d happily drive it even if it had no doors. But the fact remains that it would be a better car, and an easier one to drive, if it the engine’s response was more manageable. Nonetheless, on its day, it’s a hugely entertaining machine.)

Multumesc anticipat!

Ce limba si nemteasca asta!

Cam asta este ce am putut sa traduc cu google

The cadet grandchild is not safe everyone thing. As it with us in December 2004 rolled, jet black, with partly white dyed tail lamps and thick Pu, looks already somewhat halfstrong it. Also the slate lacquer screens in the interior (Cosmo equipment) polarize. Perhaps everything a trace too sharply made up for a class, which wants to please everyone and must. But who has problems with the optics, stop gulf is to drive or bore itself in the Corolla. That will miss however a realization, which inspired me directly: OPEL builds again quality. After 105.000 certainly not cosy test kilometers you enter into the Astra and think: Moment times, looks nevertheless as from the shop. Okay, Bur is well maintained, but the materials seem to be also top. Hardly a scratch on the entrance borders, in the trunk or at the backs of the front seats. Here other, by far more expensive models already scratch, if only one child shoe approaches. In addition finally times a carpet, which can be sucked well. Narrow-mindedly, but isn't does that sound itself not exactly the things, at which we are annoyed in the everyday life otherwise? As also over nerviges Geklapper and Geknir of hat racks, seats or linings. But even here: all bene, absolutely peace in the cardboard, which speaks for a rigid body. Surely, criticism gives it also: Some miss Cupholder or larger files, the touching lightly function of the turn signals is still habituation-needily to nervig, the seat tracks for 1,90-Meter-Menschen directly too briefly.

“OPEL, the reliable one” - with this Slogan lightning refuelled into the 50ern confidence. And the inheritance stepped then later übelst with feet. The Schlendrian is obviously not yet driven out so completely. Twice our Astra patzte, because OPELs and some suppliers produced at first Murks correctly. Example: With the first Astra, which came off the line, the drive shafts were still rather carelessly installed. The seals could be damaged, as happen with our test car. Consequence: Fat loss, until the left drive shaft finally klackerte. With kilometer 46,450 wave and seal on warranty were changed. The second loss followed briefly thereafter, was more deftiger and for OPELs upper embarrassing. The colleague Alexander Cohrs, nothing-suspecting in Thuringia on official travel, suddenly the clutch pedal sagged away. Zero counter-pressure more, course change not possibly. Cohrs transmitted SOS, OPEL sent a Abschlepper - and the wires already glowed to Ruesselsheim. In order to die no risk, the gentlemen decided to change equal the complete transmission on warranty. Überhastet completely unnecessarily, completely, because the Räderwerk was absolute correct. Defective was only the clutch taker cylinder. A not deburred plastic part of a supplier had destroyed the weatherstrip at the Zentralausrücker. Can happen times. But who must pay wages to so a wrong decision later from own bag, rightfully the last mark bought an OPEL.

Our readers so far obviously did not experience such adventures. Grief box expert Stefan Szych confirms: “A complaint is not present over the third branch rising up ration.” Also a criterion for the quality. In our reliability table however the Astra is to the rear through-handed by this Eskapaden. Our sympathy valuation completely in front meanwhile it joins. Because it is a “perfect travel car”, as colleague Lars Zühlke judged by a 1200-Kilometer-Ritt. At the same time the OPEL reveals surprising sport talent” according to opinion many “. Some discovered “BMW Feeling in the feathers/springs”. However are doped in the test car: with the driving system IDS plus of ZF Sachs (surcharge: 585 euro), which adjust the absorber hardness between hard and softly in fractions of a second. Uniquely with compact ones. Who likes it still harder and healthy dentures has, presses the sport mode. My thing is not that. Already the normal tuning has a tidy sip Schaumfestiger abbekommen. Nearly already too much. “For end of workday traffic and German Hartz IV Holperstrecken hard at the border”, editor commentates Joachim State of drying. As said: Taste thing. Model history: • 03/2004: Introduction on the market of the Astra H as sedan, six engine variants (80 to 170 HP) • 07/2004: Three additional engines in the offer: 1,9 CDTI (120 and 150 HP) with maintenance-free particle filter, 2,0 turbo (200 HP) • 09/2004: Introduction of the branch RA combination model • 03/2005: New entrance Diesel 1,3 CDTI (90 HP) • 08/2005: With maintenance-free particle filter • 10/2005 replace 1,9 CDTI (100 HP) to the 1,7 CDTI (80 HP): Start for branch RA the Topmodell OPC with 240 HP • 11/2005: New 1,8-Liter-Benziner (140 HP) replaces the 125-PS-Variante, to 1,3 CDTI (90 HP) keeps the particle filter standard, but escapes the 1,7 CDTI (100 HP)

Many more clearly so far the judgement precipitates over the wonderful balanced 120-PS-Diesel: That fits! The four-cylinder from the failed Fiat marriage is in the morning still another right Grummelbär, untwists then however correctly. Only times warmed up, the nailing disappears nearly completely, even on the motorway becomes the CDTI hardly louder. And to run Bur can. Wenn's to be must, to Tacho 210. Those are then genuine 191 km/h. Who lets it run in such a way ( B) , has at the end of the daily over ten litres per 100 kilometer on the tank calculation. During strolling travel stands 'ne five before the comma. In the back meanwhile in series filtered air comes raus with each Diesel Astra. Also thus a clean thing. Like the whole car. Apart from the bitter pill with the transmission a Astra (nearly) without risks and side effects. So far. After 200,000 kilometers geht's in the conclusion end again to the AUTO picture doctor. We are strained whether the patient OPELs will then dismiss as healed can.

Test values Measurement with TAC host and 5467 km 103,021 km Acceleration 0-50 km/h 3.6 s 3.5 s 0-100 km/h 10.6 s 10.4 s 0-130 km/h 18.7 s 17.9 s Elasticity 60-100 km/h (4.Gang) 7.4 s 6.6 s 80-120 km/h (5. /6. Engineers with OPELs were obviously gene FFS. Calculated lasted happened, what for the confidence into each vehicle is deadly: Total failure, outlet on the tow truck. And then the hammer: Transmission change with straight times 47,000 kilometers on the clock. Completely unnecessarily, as rausstellte itself later. Because debt was a Pfennig article, a small, badly deburred plastic part in the Zentralausrücker. Neither at the clutch nor at the transmission a damage was present. Our Astra could have driven on with the original transmission. Would have! The Opelaner reacted in this case unfortunately overeagerly, the entire transmission rausgeschmissen, instead of changing only the Zentralausrücker. Here click! Here click! At least the remainder of the Astra is still nearly originals with the half time check - and shows up technically in really good condition. Owing to thorough preservation no rust damage is to be feared on long time. The machine brings its full achievement. However strong deposits of an oil dirt mixture in the entire Ansaugtrakt and appropriate traces at the intake valves make concerns for us. Whether the Diesel digests these without loss, the further test will show.
